When Liz first emailed me about wedding photography, she had gushed about her fiancé and fun wedding weekend plans with friends and family. I knew right away that the special people in her life were very important, especially Tom. Our emails were full of giddy excitement leading up to the wedding day, picnic plans in Como Park and the importance of family. I knew that Tom and Liz’s wedding day was going to be absolutely beautiful.

And it was just that. On Sunday morning we were up early to sip coffee and share stories with Liz, her Maid of Honor (and twin sister) Kate and her lovely mother. It was like we were old friends. The dress was perfect, the details were stunning and we were ready to capture an emotional day of love and happiness.

Their first look was so sweet and filled with love, a theme that resonated throughout the day. In a beautiful rooftop backdrop in downtown Minneapolis, Tom and Liz said I do amongst an intimate gathering of family and friends. There was not a dry eye in that room as the couple dedicated their lives to one another. I am so honored to have been a part of such a very special day in their lives.

Cheers to the newlyweds and may they live a long life together filled with many years of laughter and love.
